11Am-7:45 (Sunset)
Sizdeh Bedar is a tradition of gathering family and friends to spend a full day of picnicking, socializing, and dancing outdoors, traditionally on the 13th/last day of Norooz celebrations.
A ritual performed at the end of the picnic day is to throw away Sabzeh from the Norooz Haftsin table. Sabzeh collected all the sickness, pain and ill fate hiding in the path of the coming year.
The celebration will take place at the Kitchen Shelter, which has been specifically reserved for the event.
Bring food, family, and friends and enjoy a day outdoors. The IACA will be organizing a dance party with a live DJ at the park shelter and will be also selling tea, sweets, and snacks.
