Nowrouz is also celebrated in the Kurdish regions of Iraq and turkey and also in parts of Pakistan.

I have a friend who is from Uzbekistan and he has described their celebrations for Nowrooz. They are very similar to the Persian Traditions. He was thrilled when he found someone else who understood the relevence, and attachment to the cultural reverence for Spring and the beginning of the New Year..it crosses all sorts of other barriers to bring us together!

Dear friend,

Nawroza was a celebration left to us from 5000 years from Ancient Aryana, capital city of Balk( current day Afghanistan). During this period there was no Persian Empire. The Aryan king Yama, had control over the Aryana lands. The center of Aryana included all of Afghanistan, and parts of Iran, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Later the Aryan civilization spread south due to attacks by what is known today as Pakistan and India: these people use to steal the Aryan’s food supplies and destroy their crops. So the Aryan’s had to attack them to protect themselves. And some decided to settle in those lands, taking the Aryan faith with them. Today, the Hindu religion is a mixture of the ancient Aryan religion with their own ancient faith.
The Aryan’s did not believe in burning their dead, nor burying them, or throwing the dead in the sea, because they found fire, water and the earth to be sacred. So instead they would leave the dead body on top of a mountain top to be eaten by wild birds or animals.

The Zoroastrian faith also started in the Aryana kingdom in Balk( today Afghanistan). Some say, this ancient religion is what introduced the human civilization to the concept of God.

So Nawroz in actuality is a new year left to us by the ancient Aryans civilization, and it should be called Aryana New Year. Today, Nawroz is celebrated in its native land of Aryana Afghanistan, and other parts of the world such as Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kurdish people of Turkey, and some other parts of the world.

actually, Nowroz was being celebrated before 6000 years ago when the Arians came to Ariana land(today Afghanistan) from other east, so the first kings were celebrating this day for spring. they created their languages Pashto & Dari which is taken from work Dara means canyon, slowly their population increased and this people started immigration to west upto Germany

what is ur opinion in the Iran’s cultural attacks like destroying our very very old language Dari, though everybody knows Dari is the very first language made bye Aryan people then as u said after immigration these people in the area of Phars made their own languaged imitated from Dari

Hi everybody
Happy new year and happy new day

I believe that Culture don’t get any restriction and outskirt specially in the middle east as I know with it’s far long ancient history. And also I believe culture should do the best to collect it’s worldwide territory, not to disperse it’s people. There are more and more in this world to make us separate. Why should we misuse culture when we could use it in the better way. We cannot and should not draw strict lines to break up cultural tradition. Nowrouz is not restricted in Iran, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Albania, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Tataristan. One day most of us have a unique emperor and administration which we all are proud of it.
I recommend all of you dears, try not to individualize our beautiful ancient culture and history. Let us celebrate it together. Let us share what we are proud of. We have enough in common to be one whole.
