Join us in Celebration of Persian New Year – Nowruz – at the University of Washington Seattle Campus. Although this event is at the very end of the Nowruz, it is the first Friday of Spring Quarter.
Andisheh Center is proud to have organized this event in Portland for the past years. Hope to see all of you for this year’s event.
What Can I Do? You can Organize, Recruit and Campaign in your School, Work place or among Friends and Family to form a Unit to participate in the 2nd Chicago Nowruz Parade. A unit starts with two people, one on each side of your banner.
Golha Kids, Arghavan Ensemble (traditional music), Delshodeh Ensemble ( traditional Persian Dance), Amoo Nowruz and a Surprise Stand up Comedian.
The Iranian New Year, Norooz, is a time of year to celebrate family, friends and the rebirth of nature. It’s also a time for spring cleaning ‘khouneh tekouni’ and, according to some, setting the tone for the year ahead.
