As part of their year-long Islam Today program focusing on new media, politics and popular culture in the Muslim world, the Center for South Asia Studies, the Center for Southeast Asia Studies and the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at UC Berkeley present an art exhibition highlighting new work by young Iranian artists.
A project organized by Taraneh Hemami & Ghazaleh Hedayat Featuring the work of eight artists living in Tehran, Iran; Nima Alizadeh, Saba Alizadeh, Mohammad Ghazali, Ghazaleh Hedayat, Abbas Kowsari, Mehran Mohajer, Neda Razavipour, and Homayoun Sirizi – alongside new work by San Francisco-based artist Taraneh Hemami.
