Join us for a spring celebration of music with Persian-tuned pianist, Ramin Zoufonoun featuring his “Spring Suite” based on original compositions, arrangements of classical Persian songs about spring, as well cross-cultural pieces inspired by American Jazz and Iranian folk music, based on poetry by Rumi and Fereydun Moshiri.
In celebration of the Iranian new year, the Iranian Student Cultural & Aesthetic Organization (ISCAO) invites you to join us for an unforgettable evening of Iranian music and dancing performed by UC Davis Students.
“Rumi x 7 = Tales from the Masnavi” International artist, Hafiz Karmali will direct this original play in his signature lyrical style fusing western circus arts and commedia dell arte with Middle Eastern dance and poetry.
