Nowruz is the most significant festival in Iranian culture and is extensively celebrated by Iranian families throughout the history. Society of Iranian Graduate Students at UCI, is going to be part of this world wide celebration and has planned a fantastic event for Nowruz 1391 (2012).
ZAGNY & IZA will host a joint celebration function to celebrate Navroze and also Zarathushtra’s birthday. This is the third such joint function in recent times.

For the first time, the light poles in downtown Chicago will be decorated with official Nowruz banners!
Haji Firouz, the Kurdistan dance ensemble Rojan, and the best Iranian dance music by DJ Arya, and much more.

For the past several years, a large group of Dallas Iranian Americans have been actively involved in the preparation of the NowRuz Festival. Hundreds of children and teenagers have participated in the Festival’s artistic classes, including Persian dance, choir, theater, and music. They show off their new found skills by performing at the Festival.
The Iranian American Community Alliance is proud to present the Annual Norooz Celebration of 2012! Come enjoy great traditional Persian dance and music, followed by an amazing dance party.
