Seeta Qasemie, سيتا قاسمى was born in Afghanistan in a village near Kabul. At 16, she came with her family and her much older husband to Germany. In Germany, the couple had two children. She separated from her husband after a few years and made the acquaintance of Valy Hedjasi, a famous Afghan singer, who offered her to record an album with her. Seeta Qasemie took this chance and wrote songs like “Delbareh Mehraban” and “Bia tu” for Valy.
