TEHRAN, Nov. 2 (Mehr News Agency) -- The winners
of the 14th Isfahan Theater Festival for Children and Young Adults were
announced on Thursday.

Golab Adineh, Reza Babak, and Alireza Khamseh made up
the jury who selected the winners at the festival which ran in Isfahan from
October 28 until November 1.

Following is a list of
winners:
* Best
Director
Third prize went to Omid Niaz for the play “Narenj and
Toranj”. Second prize went to Hamed Zahmatkesh for “Cow”, and first prize went
to Ahmad Soleimani for “The Tale of the King of Storyland.”
* Best Screenwriter
Third prize went to Mehdi Farshidi-Sepehr for “Cow”, and
first prize went to Mohammadreza Kuhestani for “The Tale of the King of
Storyland”. No second prize was awarded in this
section.

* Best Poster and Brochure
Designer
Nazanin Javaheri, Amir Khord-Azad and Nasrin
Shamayizadeh shared the prize for the designs for the plays “Mash Mash Qoli
Khan” and “Narenj and Toranj”.
* Best Music
Mohammadreza Kuhestani won the award in this section for
“The Tale of the King of Storyland”.
* Best Costume Designer
Azar Khurayeh and Mehdi Nikravesh shared this section’s
award for the plays “Mash Mash Qoli Khan” and “The Tale of the King of
Storyland”.
* Best Stage Designer
Third prize went to Dariush Mansuri and Mojtaba Mehdi
for “Sara and the Beanstalk”.
Second prize went to Omid Niaz for “Narenj and Toranj”,
and the first prize went to Hamed Zahmatkesh for
“Cow”.
* Best Child Actress
Parmis Azizinejad won the award in this section for
“Sara and the Beanstalk”
* Best Actor
Third prize was awarded jointly to Reza Yunesfar for
“Setareh and the Magician with a Moustache” and Nima Sayyari for “The Tale of
the King of Storyland”.
Second prize went to Naser Avijeh for “Mash Mash Qoli
Khan”, and the first prize went to Majid Amiri for “The Tale of the King of
Storyland”.
* Best Actress
Third prize was awarded to Afarin Semnani for “Fairy
Cockroach” and second prize went to Shahla Nadri for “Narenj and
Toranj”.
The jury awarded no first and second prizes in this
section.
* Best Play
The top award went to “The Tale of the King of
Storyland” by director Ahmad Soleimani.
