The first Iranian art gallery dubbed "RIRA" Gallery was inaugurated in Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) showing works of Iranian artists in 3 generations.
Visitors from Asia, the US and Europe joined the inauguration ceremony. 35 works on painting, sculpture and photos from 27 artists have been shown in the event. The works show some parts of new art in Iran over last 50 years.
Also the Managing Director of RIRA Company, Maryam Moghaddam said RIRA Gallery would have new things on Iranian art to say.
She added the gallery would focus on Iranian art in 2012 but will hold comparative fairs in upcoming years to show works of Iranian, Arab and Turk artists simultaneously so that regional and cross-regional audience of the fair would perceive the delicacy of art in the Middle East.
RIRA Gallery mainly plans to restudy Iranian art scientifically in a balanced process to show old and new trends in Iranian art.
RIRA is the first Iranian gallery in DIFC which provides theoricians with an exhibition with research and decorative approaches from Iranian artists.
RIRA Gallery has conducted 15-months research project and plans to redefine the art of great people in Iran and reintroduce new artistic approaches to show the Iranian talented people to the world.
RIRA plans to conduct measures on vast consultation and international marketing to boom the economy of art and help create new opportunities for the market.
This is the first Iranian gallery in Dubai art strategic area whereas only Farjam Gallery Museum had been the first Iranian representative in DIFC.
RIRA plans to fill the place of an Iranian updated art gallery in DIFC.
